We believe that the workshop is the heart of any good bike shop. We offer a free estimate for any repair we take on and we do not carry out any work until we have the go-ahead from you. We aim to turn around repairs as quickly as we can and depending on workload can even offer a repair service while you wait.
Our Gear Service is a full strip down and rebuild of the drivetrain of your bicycle. Our mechanics will clean, check and lubricate all the parts and recommend any replacement parts required. The aim is to ensure that your bicycle is returned to you with the drivetrain looking and operating as close to new as possible. Parts not included.
Our mechanics will safety check your bicycle with the headset, bottom bracket and hubs checked and adjusted. Then check the adjustment of brakes and gears. All nuts and bolts are checked and torqued, tyres correctly inflated and chain lubricated.
Our bronze service makes sure your bike is road safe and intended for bikes in overall good condition and needing adjustment. Parts not included.
Everything from the Bronze Service plus cassette, chain, chain set, front derailleur and rear derailleur removed, degreased and lubricated. Frame and fork wiped down and checked for alignment. Wheels removed from frame and trued in the wheel jig. This service is more in-depth than the bronze and we recommend it if parts are showing signs of wear and not operating properly. Parts not included.
Everything from the silver service plus all components are removed, cleaned and inspected. Bottom bracket, hubs and headset bearings are cleaned, inspected and re-greased where necessary. Frame and fork are cleaned and inspected for damage and alignment. Parts not included.
Everything from the gold service plus this top tier platinum service is for bikes that include electronic group sets, hydraulic brakes or Time Trial/Tri bikes. Parts not included.
